The Futures Lab’s President Derek Woodgate has just returned to the USA after speaking at conferences in Kuala Lumpur and Perth organized by the international acclaimed digital media think-tank and  creative workshop organization (http://www.xmedialab.com/).

Derek gave  opening speeches in KL and Perth, followed by two master classes in KL and two days of mentoring sessions in Perth. The KL event was organized in collaboration with MDEC (Multimedia Development Corporation) / MSC – Malaysia National ICT Initiative. In Perth the event was coordinated with the Ministry for Planning, Culture the Arts, Science and Innovation. The event drew audiences of 250 creatives

Amongst a cast of 14 amazing speakers from around the world, Derek presented on three separate, yet interlinked topics, namely “Innovative approaches to integrating creatives into the economy”, “Experiential Entertainment – The making of a Sense Event” and You are the Story – Interactive Storytelling.”
